Nightmare
I woke up, sweating heavily as my daughter lay awake beside me.
It was 3 am again and it was the same nightmare which has haunted me for every single day since that one night.
I look at my daughter, as she sat with a blank expression on her face, and said -
"daddy, why does mommy get upset at 3 o clock everynight?
All the time, except that,she seems alright while playing with me... "
My face turned white when I realised that the clock on my bedside table read 3 am, like it did on the night when I choked my wife in her sleep.
As I looked at the mirror, I saw her standing behind me, was I hallucinating?
No.....
I can feel her cold arms tightening like a noose around my neck...
Oh god....
What have i done...
